Jamout Studio (“Jamout,” “we,” “us”) is a boutique development studio. This policy explains what information we collect through jamoutstudio.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Right now the Site is a coming-soon page, and the only way to share personal information with us is by signing up for release updates.
Information we collect
- Your email address. When you sign up for updates, we collect the email address you enter. This is the only personal information you give us directly.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the Site, for example which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country or city), what device and browser they use, and how they arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this. We have turned off Google’s advertising features, so this data is not used for ads. For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we do not set analytics cookies.
- Standard technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider and Google Fonts (which serves the typefaces on the Site) automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. We don’t use this to identify you.
We don’t use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on the Site. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To send you release news, launch announcements and occasional studio updates you signed up for.
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- To operate, secure and maintain the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We won’t use your email address for anything unrelated to Jamout Studio.
How we share information
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under California law). We only disclose it:
- To service providers that help us run the Site and send email, such as our website hosting, analytics (Google Analytics) and email delivery providers. They may only use it to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Jamout Studio, our users or others.
- To a successor if Jamout Studio is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Email updates and unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] and we’ll remove you promptly.
How long we keep your information
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we stop sending updates. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record of your address only so we don’t email you again.
Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll delete it.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.
U.S. state residents. Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We don’t do any of those things, but you can still make a request. You may use an authorized agent, and if we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don’t track you across websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We’ll verify it by confirming you control the email address involved, and we’ll respond within 45 days.
Visitors outside the United States
Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
- EU, EEA and UK. We rely on your consent to send you email updates (you can withdraw it at any time) and on our legitimate interests to keep the Site secure. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. International transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by our providers.
- Indonesia. We process personal data in line with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, including your rights to access, correct and delete your data and to withdraw consent.
- Everywhere else. We extend the same rights described in this policy to everyone, wherever you live.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant and you’re subscribed, we’ll let you know by email.
